My gf just called me up (yes, over the phone) and said that she didn't want to be a couple anymore (just friends), right after we went on a date yesterday.    Her reason for doing this is because I'm going off to college and she is just going into 11th grade and it wouldn't work.  

I'm sad and pissed but i see where she's coming from because my mom's been saying that as long as we've been dating(6months).  To me if she thought that was going to happen that she would atleast wait till we both go back to school and see if it works for a while.  Do y'all think it would work?

To be quite honest that's disgusting.
She's my age 15-16 and you're going into college, unless of course you're 17 and going straight from senior(high school) to freshman(college)

A friend of mine made a deal with her boyfriend that was a senior at the time that when he went to college, she expected him to know that she wasn't going to stay with him.
It's not an irregular thing... it just makes sense.

to answer some questions. i'm staying at home but the college i'm going to is 30ish minutes away.


she's 16 and going to be a junior.
I'm 18 and i just graduated hs

but why couldn't she of waited until the beginning of school?
