Just found out his girlfriend is cheating on him. I am totaly pissed off now! He is one of the greatest guys I have ever met and dont see how anyone can cheat on him:( He asked me for advice on what to do, and im kinda proud of myself I was able to put my feelings aside and give him good advice that didnt involve him breaking up with her. but I feel down about it now...cause it just means we will never be

Don't give up hope. If she cheated on him, then she doesn't love him. She has a wandering mind, she doesnt want to be tied down to one guy. I would give them some time, then when they break up be there to support him mentally and see what happens from there. Good luck.
