I got cought shoplifting at walmart yesterday and bc it was under $25 they didnt call the cops but he did take down my information. He told me that walmart would be sending me a fine in the mail but he didnt know how much it would be. I never signed any papers the guy barley even talked to me and kinda acted like he didnt know what he was doing.
can they send me a fine without signing anything?
if youve been in this experince with walmart..what happened?

I think they can beacuse its the store. Not the cops that are sending the fine. So I'm guessing you didn't get charged by the police so I doubt you have a record that will mess you up.
I think the fine will range from like 100$+??
