Obviously the hair is supposed to be over her left eye, correct? What you've done wrong is if you examine the hair that is BEHIND the neck, you've made the hair over her eye almost the same value and colour. This gives the Illusion that the hair is behind her eye, just like the hair is behind her neck, making her grotesque looking.
