And you chose the BEST song from 1986 Peace Sells...But Who's Buying? What an awesome fucking record. I remember this being the third Megadeth album I bought. I started off with CTE then RIP and then PS...BWB? I was absolutely blown away. I remember thinking man this is an awesome closer. It probably could of kicked major ass in the second spot. The album has so many classics. The self-titled track is by itself on any true metalhead's playlist.
If you were comparing it side by side with Metallica, you would have to be fair and compare it to Master of Puppets. And to be honest, anyone would say Master of Puppets wins. At least those who know better.
But Megadeth has remained VERY consistent over the years. Metallica, not so much. I'm still recovering from that fucking "Mama said" shit. LOL. Metallica has only recently came back strong. But Megadeth has really given a solid album for over 20 years straight.
Even with ALLLLLL those line-up changes, Megadeth really rocked it. Metallica hasn't had that much change. Cliff passing was really the sign of things to come.
But Megadeth all the way.
Nice choosing of the song. Holy Wars...The Punishment Due is also a good song to prove a point.
