I fail to see what the hype was about this movie. It has failed to capture my attention. I have a short attention span and if a movie is not good in the first 30 minutes I give up on it, and in its first 30 minutes it failed to be interesting and leave me wanting more.

Ok, I've the books twice, watched the movie 3 times and to me, it looks like the director just took the idea of twilight and turned it into a movie. They changed so much stuff about it that it's not even funny. The book is way better because you get a better inside look at the chemistry between the characters. The movie just feels as if they just wanted something thrown together to make some money. If you don't even think about the book while watching the movie, it has it moments. If you have the book on your mind the entire time while watching the movie, as I did, then you will definitely be disappointed. They left out so much little that was essential to the whole story and just threw in so much extra stuff it gave it a whole new feel. I hope they don't do that New Moon or any of the other movies. For example, I heard that Edward was actually going to step into the sunlight when they're in Italy, which would just be ridiculous. The whole point of him even thinking about stepping into the sunlight is so the Volturi will kill him because he can't live without Bella. If he does step into sunlight, the Volturi will have no choice but to kill him because that's what they do to those vampires that threaten to expose their existence. And that will change the whole story once again.

idk how that book qualifies as literture. Its written for children but teen themes it was like anhy other stereotypical teen love story with immortality thrown in

Everyone's always gone on about twilight and it's always really pissed me off, until I got curious and bought the film to see what the fuss was about. I was actually VERY pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed the story. I have no interest in reading the book but I will definitely be watching New Moon in the cinema
