My boyfriend and I just had this discussion last night. Tech Support guys are doing things you could do yourself for lots of money and the only reason you're not going to have for ten days is that they keep it around the office until they get to it. Most problems they fix only take 20 minutes usually. Seriously, you're better off just fixing it yourself. Flip it over, find a screw driver, clean off the fan, put the plate back over it. It's easy and takes less time than they would. I have to reformat my computer, which I'm doing myself because the tech guy will charge out the ass.
