Dude. Crossovers are just as bad. I figure, first cars should always be a shitty older Escort. Lets keep the novices out of the hands of 5,000lb. Suburbans plz.

Wow. I only spent $940 on my first car.
lol, what did you get? I dont want to spend the full 24K but thats just how much i have to spend... I have heard Dodge Neons are crap but are reliable, but I'd like an SUV
I have a Sunbird. Neons are actually pretty good, I know a few people that have them. A Tahoe is a splendid SUV.
Neons are NOT good and Tahoes are good if you don't roll them(inside joke).
What do you think is wrong with Neons?
There poorly made they look like crap and are completely dominated by there competition. Chryslers most worthless vehicle in years.
I know a few people that have had them for years and never had a problem. They get good gas and my friend had hers doing 110 mph down the highway a few times. I think they're pretty nice. Especially for a first car.
That your personal experience im talking from a whole. Every car will have quite a few reliable ones because the people know how to look after it like servicing regularly and such. I mean my dad got 250k miles out of hes 1998 Toyota Townace Van with Only 1 oil change everything original from clutch to brakes to filters. It was running a bit iffy but that in my opinion is reliability without question.

She actually beats the hell out of that car. And I'm not even talking about just hers. I've never really heard anything bad about them.

Trailblazer SS. Since you could care a piss less about gas mileage as it stands.

I agree he should have a shitty older beat up car, but at least crossovers get gas millage, and makes you look like a little less douchebag.

The Taurus is a solid car, and I kind of like the new ones. I would go for that, especially if you will be buying your own gas.
