Instead of just displaying the top point earners, perhaps we could have lists of posters, most posts per day, points per day, topics made, donations, money donated, etc.

Just like a searchable/sortable memberlist would be better than what we have now.

Yes, but what good does that do?  They are proud of their spamming.
I have always said there should be limits on how many topics you can make in a day.  I certainly would be far under the limit.  I've made about three topics in a year.
