Yeah I agree. I've just started listening to them.
My all time favorite though are The Killers

I kinda feel the same way with The Killers. All of their songs are too similar and I feel like once you hear one or two songs from them you hear it all. I mean I think their goal on the Sam's Town album was to be different, but ultimately I didn't much variation in their style or songs.

Dream Theater.  Mike Portnoy= One of the best drummers alive, Petrucci is an amazing guitarist, Myung's the best bassist in the whole Prog genre, and Rudess is a wizard on the keys.  Plus I freaking love songs that are 10+ minutes long, its like reading a good book except musical and more exciting.

I can honestly say I could listen to every Led Zeppelin album from beginning to end without skipping any songs. Zeppelin IV was the pinnacle of their work I would listen to it beginning to end if i could everyday.
