My wireless connection went stupid several days ago.

I have a91% signal to my router and out ofnowhere it went apeshit and despite this signalstrength will not connect for more than thirty seconds to two minutes and most times will claim to be connected and Ivan send data out but cannot RECIEVE data.

additionally when I repair it goes through but it always fails to renew my ip.

it's really annoying the he'll out of me and is preventing me from using livewire other than on this iPhone

I do not want to conclude a hardware issue until I've exhausted all troubleshooting possibilities.

also, during the thirty seconds that it is recieving my speeds are at about fifty percent of what they should be (which is actually still very fast because my connection is 20mbps down constant.

before I was having issues my wireless connection speed tested at 19.8 Mbps. currentlya speed test fails because I don't have connection long enough but before itfails it's at about 9 to 12 Mbps.

You should be able to renew your ip address manually from command prompt.

Not sure if renewing the IP will fix all the problems though, but it's the one thing my tech-retarded mind knows.

"Who are you?" Sophie asked.
She received no response to this either, but felt a momentary
confusion as to whether it was she or her reflection who asked
the question.

Yes I would greatly appreciate it being copied to craig actually.

also I now realize this should be in the tech forums, haha

you could even move it to tech as well as it should be there I was just rushing to make this in frustration.

when I get home I'll attempt the manual renewal.

god I forgot craig wouldn't be able to see this LOL

tonight when/if I come home I'll move it myself not tryin to be lazy but it reallyis gay moving to the appropriate tech forum on my phone

There might be interference from a neighbouring router if it's on the same channel (this happens often and can result in connecting to the network but then it's lost, etc) as yours. Try using something like netStumbler to look at the channels that the neighbouring routers are on and set yours to one that's not being used and a few channels away from the others if you can. Alternatively if your router has a "automatic" setting for the channel (you can change this using the admin web interface) select that instead.
