I myself suffer from Anorexia, and I know I could die, but I also know that I'm nothing special.
My sister found this video on youtube about a girl who'd died from Anorexia. She made me watch it - trying to shock me, I guess.
Anyway.
All the comments were mostly like "Oh my god she was so pretty ... gorgeous ... stunning ... beautiful ... she didn't deserve to die!"
"She LOOKED so happy ... "

I wanted to scream, I honestly did ... this girl is dead and people miss her because she was something pretty to look at.
I'm not saying that goes for her family, just the outside world.
I mean, if she wasn't blonde, blue-eyed and had a huge infectious smile, would people still give a shit? Still be as sympathetic?
I doubt it.
This has just made me feel a million times worse, because when I die, the kids at school will just say I was stupid and doing it for attention.

Yes, because anorexics starve themselves to look prettier because skinnier is prettier.

Which sort of defeats the purpose when you're already pretty - and this is more tragic because it's a true waste.
