People should each record themselves singing or playing music. The most creative and original recording will win. It can be a cover of a song, but it needs to be redone and be original. For example is you sing a song, it needs to sound good and add something to the original. if you are playing music, either write something of your own and play it, or add something to an older pice of music. The one that sounds the best and is the most original wins. how about that?

I have it, the long awaited LiveWire Comic contest. It will appeal to most users on here, a combination of writing and drawing. Comics could be hand drawn, animated, and or not limited by digital imagery. It could be done with programs as simple as 'Paint' or just a sheet of paper, pencil and a scanner. I'm sure we could get a WIDE range of different entries, some more artistic, poetic, and comical than others. we could provide comic strips, such as the ones here http://www.teachartathome.com/blankcomicstrip.html rules to this would be very simple, either 100% creativity or a simple fill in the blank would be accepted such as There would be three winners of equal prizes, for example of 1500 points are given each winner would receive 500 points. Categories would be, creativity, humor, and originality.

Wakeupcall's entry. Why I believe this entry should win. -99.99999% of people on here have paint. -99.99999% of those people can use paint. -Paint images are easy to get on here. (ie clicking save as and saving as a JPG file) -The work would be original. -I don't think we've had one here before. -It doesn't require specialist equipment. Bar a computor. but we all have one of those on here. MS Paint tourney - Rules would be set for entry - no nudity or vulgar imagery. A theme would also be set (possibly decided by a poll?) - Entry format(s) Member Name: Picture Title: Picture: (LINK OR PICTURE) EG: Up to 3 entries per person. Judges may NOT award 1st and 2nd place to the same member. Rules -Entrants may put picture in IB, or on a site such as picOodle, provided that they label it correctly. A name must be selected for each entry. -Pictures MAY NOT just be painted over another picture. If it is based on a picture, please provide a link to that picture. -Pictures may NOT be edited using photoshop or other wise. -Pictures will be judged based on originality and overall look. -Pictures placed in IB MUST be in a seperate Album labelled "Paint Contest tournament" Thanks for listening :) ***
This PWNs all. Simple concept. Brilliant idea. XD

Survivor: Livewire Edition 20 members of livewire sign up for Survivor, and one leaves with all 1500 points. How the game works: 1.20 members sign up. 2.the 20 members are split into 2 groups of ten. 3.From there, the teams verse each other in challenges, such as "the first team to have all of their members post a picture of ten ducks wins, no duplicates" for immunity. 4. each round, the teams compete in 2 challenges. 1 reward challenge, 1 immunity challenge. Reward Challenge Somewhere on this site, hidden amongst the spam, is the secret immunity idol. the team that wins the reward challenge gets a clue as to it's location. Immunity Idol Once played, the player that posted it is immune for the entire round, and thus cannot be voted off. must be used by the final four. Immunity Challenges Challenges in which the losing team must go to tribal council, and vote one of their own out of the game. Tribal Council each member of the team going to tribal council will send their vote to me (and another person to be decided later, for fairness' reasons). they are voting for who they want out, the player must be on their team. the player with the most votes, is eliminated, unless they play the immunity idol, in which case the person with the second most votes is eliminated. Later Game Once 10 people have been eliminated, like so, they merge into one single group, in which everyone competes on their own. rewards are given to single players, immunity to single players. this continues until we have 2 people left, in which the last nine people who were voted out before hand, vote for which of the two they think should win it. The Finals Once all the votes are in, the person with the most of the 9 votes wins Survivor: Livewire Edition, and 1500 points.

I don't really like this one because it's not really fair, to be honest. Not everyone has a photo editing software and it would be unfair if one member used a software like Photoshop. I don't know, just my opinion. The overall idea is great - however, I don't believe that all members have a fair chance.

Livewire Playlist Contest Members are asked to choose a theme (something like an emotion or an occasion) and then to produce a playlist of music for it. Of course, there's always one who has to enter a 290-song playlist, so there would be rules about the length of the playlist. The playlist must contain at least 3 songs and must not exceed 12 minutes in length. This allows for 3 long-ish songs or 4 average-length songs, or any other combination the member chooses. Members are encouraged to work in teams/pairs to create their playlists, so as to reduce the huge amount of time needed to judge. An individual member is allowed a 12-minute playlist and 3 minutes are added for each other member, up to a maximum of 24 minutes (five people, though members can work in groups as large as they wish). This means that there's more space for interesting songs, but less time is taken than if each of the members had entered individually. There could possibly be secondary prizes for best cover art (for if the playlist were released as a mix CD) or best intros/links (for if it were played on the radio). Entries would be judged on how well the songs chosen fitted the theme they'd chosen and how well the order of the songs worked, as well as the overall impression. Judges should be willing to listen to different kinds of music. Members would also be asked to provide a link to somewhere the judges could legally listen to each of the songs in their playlist, in their entirety, for free.

The "Don't Fuck Shit Up" Contest How long can you go without fucking up? We have a spellcheck, we have a post preview, there is no reason to fuck up. On the ending date of the contest, the person with the most posts made between start and end date who hasn't fucked up wins. To enter the contest, all one must do is post in the contest topic stating their intention to participate. After that, all that must be done is not fuck up until the end date (TBD). Things that count as fucking up: Making a typo Misspelling something Overtly incorrect grammar Fucking up livetags If the judge thinks you fucked up I will attempt to garner the donation of over one trillion points to this contest if it is implemented and has more than 50 entrants.
You ended your contest title on a preposition. Tut tut.
"Don't fuck up shit" sounds bad. Besides, I left grammar out specifically to avoid little crap like this. Also, the contest hasn't started yet.

No, we've had one that just lasted about 7 months and was an overall disasterl.
