What I mean by this is that the fructose in diet soda is still stored as fat, even though it's diet and says it has no calories. Your body cannot tell the difference and stores the same amount of fat as it would with regular soda.

Diet sodas are definitely worse than the normal variety. The ingredients are more harsh in your body.

And you're still going to gain the same amount of weight. You're NOT saving helping yourself by drinking diet soda. Trust me on this; I'm on my path to becoming a dietitian.

The taste may be preferable to some, but as far as health goes (if you're concerned about that) diet soda is just as bad if not worse than regular soda.

But I have to admit that I do enjoy Diet Coke.

Nancy from Weeds got me hooked. Notice how she is ALWAYS drinking Diet Coke? SUBLIMINAL ADVERTISING.
