Here's something a majority of white people on Livewire enjoy doing....creating a post on a sensitive issue such as slavery or racism (well aware of how pissy people are going to get) only to try and make themselves look intellectually superior while everybody throws a fit therefore setting themselves up for the classic banana-chewing feces-throwing monkey stereotype. By getting pissy, you're entertaining the OP and the other white kids perpetuating this belief that blacks owe gratitude to slave drivers. But if there was no slavery to begin with how would you know how well the integration of blacks into US communities would be. Blacks were treated bad initially, but they were there. Without slavery there might not be such a large population of black people in the USA.

Even if there were we don't know how well they would be taken by the white people.
