i've decided to get help for my cutting. i'm kinda proud of myself but i still feel weird about going to someone for it. what's the best way to confront my parents about it?

I've never had experience cutting so I'm probably not the best person to get advice from but I'd suggest first talking to your parents about depression problems you have. Just let them know that you're not feeling so hot all the time and that you want to go get help for it. After they know you've been feeling down for awhile, you can drop the c-bomb on them and they should react better than if you had told them about it before mentioning depression.
