Quality Control Engineer

It's not the classes, the tuition, or the lack of free time I might have that I'm worried about. I afraid of when I start classes, I will be the quiet person of the classroom. I don't want to be a class clown, but I at least want to communicate with others but I'm afraid because I think that I may be totally different from others and they'll think I'm weird.

Eh, you'll get use to it. I started going to college by junior year in high school school. And you won't be the quiet person "in" the classroom. I mean you'll being seeing many many people. I don't anyone is going to pay attention to you and think "oh, she's so quiet".

a lot of college classes are lecture style and the majority of the class stays silent. You dont really need to be worried about that. Speak when you feel comfortable and try not to be awkward.

Yea, just don't act stupid in class *class clown stuff*.
It's okay to say hi to classmates and make sure you talk to your teacher. From the text, it sounds like you are trying to play it safe and this is good but don't exclude yourself completely from everyone. If you are shy then you are shy. You'll be alright.
To be honest, everyone is weird because everyone is different. If you don't have a problem with people being different then you're good.
