Why? Do you actually know they think these things about you? or are you just assuming that's what they think?

I can tell, by the way some people treat me. I think most people can tell when someone is completely disregarding what you are saying.

But as an example, I remember last year, a friend and I were joking around, and he said "My birthday is in a week, you better get me a present!" And I said "Uh...no! I don't care when your birthday is."

We were joking around. And the kid next to me, who I had been nothing but nice to goes "You are a selfish narcissist".

I was like "Seriously?" It was a sucky moment, since my guy friend thought the kid was joking. But the kid wasn't joking.

Anyways, I can tell when people are looking down on me.
