I got a cashiering job but I don't know if I can keep it since my grade on doing it is lower than it should be.  I also heard that after a month if you don't do well you'll be fired.  I really need a job and started to apply other places (closer to home) while I have this job, that I started on the 12th.  If I apply some where else should I mention about having cashier experience (at a job I have now but would like a closer one)?  How can I say that too?

There is no problem saying that. Simply saying that you want to change jobs for a more convenient one and such is not uncommon. Just don't say something like, 'I'm leaving because I don't like it there', etc. That reflects badly on you.

I wouldn't really recommend that, personally, if you just started the job you're with now. If you had been working there for a few months, then I'd understand.

You can say that, and it might help. Just make sure you put it in the right way. And don't give up on the job you're quitting even though you know you're quitting it, because otherwise you stand no chance of getting a reference or anything.

It's really not my choice, if I am fired from it.  I would just be working there for a month then let go after that or a while after that if I am not good enough.

It's also far from where I live so if I had a job for the same pay, working closer to home, I would make more because less travel expense.
