When I die, will the world stay the same, or will it disappear? Will I enter a reality of unreality, or a state of consciousness that surpasses comprehension? Perhaps I am the only person in this world who is truly alive and conscious. Perhaps I am God. Maybe senses and emotions aren’t real. They could just be things to give us a false sense of our surroundings, and to distract us from what is really in front of us. Should we even trust our minds? The same minds that deceive us every night when we dream, and make us believe that we are awake, conscious, and in some ridiculous situation! Normal things seem normal because they are what we are accustomed to. Ancient customs and foreign traditions may seem strange to us because we are not used to them, but they are normal nonetheless. We were brought up to believe what our peers believed. We were taught what was acceptable, and what wasn’t. But we could have been taught anything. So, what should we believe?
