 I'm 19 and my girlfriend is fifteen, i go to uni 2 hours away from where she lives, i'm in first year, she's in her 10th year of high school, when we satrted(we've been going for a year and a half we copped heaps of shit, but it was so superficial. Basically i believe that if there is love then 3-4 years, when your a teen, is about the limit, if people can be said to possess love at that age.

i dont think it matters if it is only a couple of years but if there is a huge difference it probably has nuffin to do wiv love!

it may sound like a contradiction, but i walk a fine line. one made less fine by the maturity of my girlfriend. on average she'd more mature than me.
everyone is different though so... that's why it seems to be a contradiction

Well,18 and 16 is nothing.I dont think age differences matter,if you love each other,thats all that matters.The only real problem with age differences is not having much in common,but once you've conquered that,there's no reason why one cant embark on a relationship.I tend to go with guys older than me,by 2-4 years.Older guys have always been more exciting

I believe age makes no difference because if you love that person with all you heat and soul it shouldn't matter their age. My parents are 13 years apart. My mom was 22 when she met my dad who was 35.

Age doesn't matter as long as there is a click.. And plus 16 and 18 isnt THAT bad.. I know a 17 years old who's dating a 20 year old.. and my best friend is 16 and her boyfriend is 19.. It doesnt matter reallly... As long as its not like 50-ish and 16.

Age does matter if the person is 6yr or more older. but to me u are ok. his 18 u're almost 16,no big deal.

Age doesn't matter to an extent, I am now 15, but when I was 14 I dated an 18 year old..He was at college during the week and we saw each other on the weekends, I am a very emotional person, it worked great except the fact that I didn't get enough attention because he wasn't around but two days in a week...**blushes**

i dont believe age matters when it comes to just a few years apart...i personally wouldnt go out with anyone whos more than 3 years older than me...but hey thats just me

I personally don't find anything wrong with dating someone much younger or older than you, as long as he/she is mature enough for you, and you think he/she is compatible with you.
