yo my name is kelsey, i'm 18 years old. this post is gonna be all over tha' place. I currently attend Ohio University but I highly doubt I'll stay the full 4 years (will probably transfer elsewhere). I've finished a quarter in college so far and only barely due to some crappy choices I got into the habit of making. My major's Latin (I've been studying it for five years, my first love and the first thing I ever excelled by leaps and bounds) but I think that will change pretty soon since I don't want to be a teacher. For a brief period of time I was considering Chemistry or Plant Biology but for very shallow reasons. Now I'm kind of lost as to what I'd like to make into my career. I'm learning Romanian - I hope to one day live in Romania (or at least visit several times). I used to know quite a bit of Spanish but haven't practiced in a while due to laziness. I'm trying to get into a Russian course but it fills up too quickly for me to register ugggh. in case ya' didn't notice, languages are my shtick. I'm saving up money to buy a cello and take lessons. Every Dostoevskij book I read becomes one of my favorites.  I love human beings. and learning about the cosmos. and using pastels (my art is awful though but I'm OK with calligraphy). cillian murphy is gorgeous... but my fiance is better. :D I think Wes Anderson's films are hilarious. Rushmore is the best IMO. My favorite movie though is probably The Fantastic Planet. The animation in it is so surreal to me but it's cool/"trippy" (see: avatar). I like swimming but I have to plug my nose when I go under cos I'm a baby.  I also like to go camping, I'm at peace in summer time. southern ohio is beautiful. I love Jesus Christ. I recently accepted God, finally stopped ignoring His presence. I can't wait till school starts back up in about a week so I can attend church services on my campus. happiest I've ever been, looking toward the future. p.s. hi, my name's miriam, i'm 18 and live in England. i'm studying for AS levels, missed most of last year out of school due to depression/psychosis but am now studying maths, french, philosophy and art. i don't have many goals for theu future, i find it difficult to look to far in the future due to my currently unspecified mental illness, but two things i am considering after A levels are Oxford (maths/languages) and art college.
i don't spend much time here, due to life getting in the way, but i come back fairly regularly to say hi to a couple of people, check up on groups and have a look at the forums.
i spend most of my time in TD&EI but float around otehrs at random

hi, im brian, and have never really posted here before, though i have about 1000 days active between my two accounts. im almost 20 and in college and confused as to what the fuck im going to do. actually i dont really care either, except for the money, cause im not really interested in anything there i work as a piano teacher part time and it pays pretty well, so that consumes at least some of my free time. i mostly post funny topics in spurts at night, and sometimes support, though i used to be heavily supportive on my other account. im extremely cynical, sarcastic, and loud in person. well, optimally, at least. most of the time i just shut up these days if im not arguing about something because i have the same opinions of people irl as i do of most of the dtrm crew these days. that opinion is...well....that they bore my balls off ive been stuck in jersey my whole life and used to really want to move but i dont really care any more because i realized that the idiocy which irritates me to no end is pretty much omnipresent im not going to write more because its 3:45 in the morning and i should start actually trying to sleep Post edited at 12:47 am on Jan. 10, 2009 by iconoclast

Hello, I'm Keren. :) I'm 15 years old, and in the 10th grade.
I live in Israel, but I was born in America. I moved here when I was 11. I speak Hebrew really well, but school is still pretty hard for me, because Hebrew is really different written and spoken.
I miss America a lot sometimes. =(
Oh, and I'm Jewish, obviously. Um, what else?
Well, I find it hard to write in paragraphs. That's why this post is probably annoying a lot of you, the way each sentence is on a new line, practically. XP I have depression, I've had it since I came here. I've had a couple attempts and have been hospitalized a bunch of times, but I'm getting better. :) My dad also has a really really severe case of Tourette's Syndrome. My mom and brother have Tourette's too, but only my dad has coprolalia. I really want to work with teenagers with depression when I get older. My life's mission is to help people, especially teenagers. :) Um... I like to read before bed... uhh... well, I talk and dress really preppy, but there's a lot more to me inside. :) I did gymnastics for 6 years, now I dance hip-hop. I'm the editor of a local teen magazine for my entire city. My parents recently divorced. It was a pretty nasty one. Sometimes, because of my dad's Tourette's, when he gets angry he can't control myself. So he has rage attacks, and those go on for hours. He says a lot of stuff he can't control and regrets later. So that sucks. Uhm, what else? Well, I LOVELOVELOVE music. But you probably think my music is shitty. I'm really nice and friendly.... I get frustrated with this world a lot. I just try to be a good person, and there seems to be a whole lot of evil going around lately. That's about all I can think of I guess. If you have any questions, just ask. :) Edit: Oh, and I like Claussen Pickles and Cheez Its and Peanut Butter M&M's and these things they have in Israel called שקדי מרק which technically translates into soup almonds but they're not almonds, they're just these little yellow crunchy things you put it soup. And I have three cats named after anti-depressants because they make me happy, and a dog I got when I was 8 named after Ginny Weasley. :)

Hello, hello. My name's Katie and I feel really weird writing this for whatever reason. I'm a senior in college and I'm to graduate in May and do my internship in the summer. I'm a Rehabilitative Sciences major with a concentration in Developmental Disabilities. I have no idea what I'm doing with my future in the sense that I know what I want to do, just not where. I have 2 cats at home and one at my apartment at school. And 2 fish and a snail who once ran away. I love all animals, though. I love to laugh and have fun. I read and write more than you would believe. I used to play soccer, basketball, volleyball, and softball. Soccer was my biggest commitment with 12 years under my belt. However, in college, I don't play any sports :( Since I turned 21 I rarely go out to the bars or drink at all anymore. I'm a loser :( I also feel especially loser-ish for posting this as soon as I could. Oh well  I'm much more intelligent than a lot of people give me credit for. I work hard in school and take academics seriously. I'm articulate and passionate. Vocabulary fascinates me and I love thesauruses. According to left brain/right brain theories, one usually enjoys/is good at either English and history or math and science; however, I am most interested and excel most in English and math. For the overwhelming majority of the time, I hate history. I have a boyfriend of nearly three years (in June). I fell in love with him the first time I laid eyes on him boarding the school bus in 7th grade. We have been best friends ever since. I guess it took me leaving for college and him for basic training to realize that he loved me back.  I love all kids of music. Classic rock is at the top of the list. My favorite books are The Joy Luck Club, The 5 People You Meet in Heaven, and Eathen Frome. I can't choose a favorite movie. My pet peeves include, but are not limited to: bad grammar, using a word incorrectly, my windshield wipers going too fast for the rain, arrogance (not confidence), and generally condescending attitudes.
