I am on the colorguard, which is a mixture of dance and spinning a flag, sabre and rifle. During marching season we help the band with GE (general effect) score and are basically the "pretty" part of the show, giving people something to watch besides drill. During winter season we perform in gyms to recorded music. I've been on the guard for 3 years (my freshmen year I marched flute) I've also played flute for almost 9 years.

Music's my thing, although I lack the confidence to go anywhere with it.

I've been playing the flute for 7 years but am only at Grade 7, which isn't really all that much of an achievement. I suppose I should be at Grade 8 by now. That would be the normal sort of a pace to go at. I play the flute in the local church youth ensemble (which has extended in numbers so dramatically from the mere 10 or us 4 years ago to a full-scale orchestra). I play in the school orchestra and band, and have had to play in numerous flute quartets at concerts throughout the years. I also occasionally get roped into doing other things in other parishes, like playing in Midnight Masses in convents and stuff.

I'm miles better at the piano than I am at the flute. I'm Grade 8 now, and have been played for 4 years. I have a real love for the piano and would quite happily sit there for hours on end twiddling away. It's so beautiful. My piano teacher tells people that I am her best pupil =) I have a really gorgeous piano that I saved up for with all my money from my part-time job and bought 2nd hand. It's mine for life now, and I'm absolutely in love with it. She's beautiful.

I used to play classical guitar but I gave that up. I wasn't playing very long but got up to about Grade 4 standard, although never did any exams. My guitar teacher said he was the best pupil he'd ever taught, but I hated the damn thing. Too sore for my wee wrists.

When I was little the only things I got the chance to play were tin whistle and recorder, which hardly require too much expertise. I played descant and treble recorder, but never the tenor.

I used to sing a little, just in school choirs and stuff, but I hate singing. I refuse to sing for my teachers when we're doing aural tests, and almost always fuck it up in the music exams. I was only in the choir because the head of music forced me to go. As soon as she left, I ran far far away. It was fun but I had no confidence with singing.

I studied music to GCSE but dropped it soon after. I got first in my school but always felt that I was shite in comparison to everyone else and I really didn't like it. Keep getting reprimanded for not doing it to A-level when I go for piano accompaniments but I don't regret it in the slightest. Music was mildly torturous for me so I'm glad the formal lessons are behind me.

I use to play the Baritone.  I did for 4 years.  It was awesome.

But my main preforming art of choice is Magic!

*flash  flash*

I have been doing magic for over 7 years.  From sponge balls to cards, from ropes to cups.  I don't preform at big places, mostly just for my friends.  I have been hired a few times to work at parties, corporate meetings and the like.

Stand Up comedy for me. Talent shows, open mics, etc. Three years, and I'm no Bill Hicks, but I'm apt.

I also play synth in an out of work band. But ya.

I act, sing, and I'm in a band.  I've been singing since I was six but I never really took it seriously until I was 11.  Now I want to go to college for it.  It's my dream to be on Broadway. ^_^

I have been playing trombone for almost five years. I just play in school bands, but I try to do extra things on the side when they come up (Solo and Ensemble Festivals, honor bands -- if I can get in, that is, other stuff). I thought about joining a community band for people ages 10+, but I still have not joined yet. In high school, I will be in three bands: Marching band, Jazz band, and Symphonic Winds. Trombone is something I am very interested in, and I hope I will have some type of job involving it when I get older. But, I know that probably won't happen, but whatever.

I also play the electric bass. I started it at the beginning of the past school year because I met some girls that were interested in starting a band and I thought it would be cool to be in a rock band or something, and I had kind of wanted to play either bass or electric guitar, so I started playing it. However, we never did start that band, but I still play.

I did play tenor saxophone a while ago. Not in any band, but I taught myself. However, I don't play it currently because I don't really have a tenor sax to practice on now. I want to play it, though.

I used to play the flute, piano and the baritone horn but i stopped last year. any music i make now is usually synthesized.

I love to act and was in my first play this year. I got the role of being a possesed witch wax figure which was cool. it was a no line part just movements and staying still for a long time but i acted the hell outta that part. Im sure to get an upgrade next year.

My most favorite is dancing. Ive been dancing since i was 6 and i do tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, modern(horton), lyrical, african/ethnic, hiphop, and im learning breakdance now.

If only i could sing i would be a one woman show!

i was in a drum group for about 5 years and we traveled all around Alaska to native villages and taught them how to play drums. I've been performing with my band for years now and have played the drums, bass, guitar, and slide guitar with them.

Im actress and a singer.

Iv been acting since i was six years old in my first play, i then did 3 plays a year one of them was a pantomime. When i turned 13 i realised that i had a singing voice and then did musicals. I got the main part each time. Been in three westend plays and recently been doing t.v and film.

I auditioned for wendy in the peter pan film but rachel hurd wood got it lol, i did a workshop with her and she is amazing. I auditioned for the part off luna lovegood in the harry potter film and got a screen test with dan radcliffe in leavesden studios. He is amazing. Unfortunly i didnt receieve the part though.

I'm a musician and I've done some acting as well, not much. I play flute, and have done several honor bands over the years. I used to play piano around age five, but never took lessons so I never thrived, but I still play and do composition. Not much of a prodigy, but I think I'm pretty damn good.

And to carly3592, our school did Guys and Dolls and I played in the pit orchestra. I really liked it, it was quite hilarious and odd. Hope you have fun with that.
