I dot wear foundation, it never matches my skin.
Because almost all cosmetics companies make shades that
befit Caucasians. And I'm technically "white" but I have deep olive skin.

So I just wear Aveeno "Positively Radiant" Tinted Moisturizer SPF30 in Medium. Brightens my face, protects, and evens skin tone. Loose powder bronzer on my cheeks, forehead and collar bone because my face tends to be lighter than my arms and chest.

And I wear dark brown mascara, pencil eye liner, and beige and brown shadow. So I really just go for a soft and natural look.

I usually just use a black eyeliner, preferably Maybelline's gel eyeliner, and a nice, pink lipgloss. I use quite a bit of eyeliner, though, so people tend to assume I use a lot of makeup. I don't usually have foundation or coverup unless I want to be very dressed up for a special occasion, and then my aunt (she's a beautician) does my makeup. I never had skin problems to correct, except bad dry skin which never happened again.

I also apply lotion every time I exit the shower. Baby lotion to the face, Dove Intensive Cream Nourishing Care to my face and neck, and a La Source brand to my hands and elbows. I'm obsessed about having soft skin.

____I would recommend...

Sephora bought products, you don't need MAC, honestly, the junk is too expensive and overrated, you can find eyeshadows just as vibrant and products just as long lasting.

MakeUp Forever [my favorite is the bright, neon pink
TokiDoki [my favorite is the bright, neon green]
NARS
^^^ Only Sephora products I have tried so far, I'm a beginner.

SugarPill is my favorite eyeshadows, it's an online brand, Google that junk!! I have ever pallet of hers [every pressed color] and I'm aiming for a few special

Drugstore eyeshadows are NOT suggested IMO they do not last, even with a primer.

I must say your knowledge in this field is apparently wonderful! Even I prefer using different brands, which actually makes my makeup kit unique. Revlon is one of my favorite brands that I often share with others even!

I prefer to use the pricer makeup brands, but I'm going to list my favorite drugstore or cheaper brands in case someone's looking for more affordable products.

Foundation: I mix a combination of CoverGirl's clean liquid foundation and Wet & Wild's Ultimate Cover foundation
Blush: Jane's Shimmering Blush
Mascara: Maybelline's Volume Express Falsies
Eyeliner: Almay's liquid liner (or NYX's large eyeliner pencil in Milk, when needing an eyeshadow base)
Powder: Either NYC's transluscent powder or Wet & Wild's Natural Wear.
Lip balm: Either Burt's Bees or Carmex.
Lip gloss/colour: Wet & Wild's Mega Colors
Eyeshadow: Coastal Scents (any color)

did you just say mac is more expensive than sephora? when you have a $25 nars lipgloss when you could've gotten a $16 mac lip gloss? mac is priced MUCH better than the majority of the sephora brands, though i love both stores.

also, i think drugstore eyeshadows are very comparable to high end eyeshadows, such as maybelline quads and wet n wild palettes. i have a variety of high and low end eyeshadows, and they all work great with a good primer, such as urban decay primer potion or too faced shadow insurance.

Mascara: Diorshow Blackout (omg, love)
Eyeliner: I really like Sephora's stuff, especially the liner electro.
Eyeshadow: I have some good colors in Maybelline's EyeStudio.
Blush: Cover Girl Cheekers. I have a Dior blush as well, but I don't like the color or coverage as much.
Lip Gloss: Dior Kiss
Lip Color: Channel Rouge Coco Shine (super creamy and hydrating).

Makeup Tips:-

1. Concealer: If you have acne or unequal skin tone, you must use a concealer.
2. You can carry your preferred fruity fragrance or mix it with a couple of other perfumes to create your own traditional mixture.
3. Select a very natural shade of lipstick or lip-gloss. It does not need to match your prom dress, not does it need to be excessively dramatic. You will probably desire to go very natural when it comes to all of your prom makeup.
4. Choose a very light foundation, powder and redden. You really don't want your prom makeup to look as though it has been caked on.
5. Add some shimmer powder on the high points of the face.
