I think we should have a 25 dollar bill, it makes it easier for a lot of purchases. Oh, and sorry for making this American based.

It would be for pure cosmetic purposes... I don't think dollar bill counterfeit has gone up enough to actually effect our economy (as far as we know).

No, there's nothing wrong with using a $20 and a $5.  What I do think we should fix is the change system.  Now that pennies and nickels are pretty much worthless.....we should just get rid of them

That would make sense, but I still like quarters!

yea, I think there should be a four dollar bill. Because its rare if you have two, two dollar bills, and four, one dollar bills is to much to carry around.

Well, I'm not American, so I don't have much say, but I think here in Canada, we should get the 5 dollar coin. They have thought about it, but are still unsure. Coins ftw!!

No. A $20 and a $5 are good enough.

And nickels and pennies are not worthless. They have a worth of $0.05 and $0.01, respectively. I have a coin jar that I toss small change into (dimes, nickels, and pennies), and after a year, I cash them in for about $30. If we remove small change from our currency, that will be $30 of my own money that I will never have.

If you honestly feel that we have a lot of useless change, then removing a coin or two is not the appropriate solution. You can't ignore certain numbers when it comes to money. If I'm owed 6 cents, but you're only going to give me 5 cents because the penny is gone, then you're ripping me off.

If one were so inclined to reduce useless change, you'd have to reduce the accuracy of the currency overall. Therefore, instead of having a change system based on 1/100, you should consider a change system based on 1/10. To make it clearer, instead of the smallest unit of money being $0.01, it would be $0.1.

And that's a dime, so by your description, the nickel and the penny still would be useless.

1) I'm not saying they're useless, I'm saying they'd be void.

Quarters would be of a similar fate, too, since they involve hundredths of a cent.

2) That's only the case under a theoretical new system. As it stands right now, I believe pennies and nickels are still important.

That's not a bad idea if the coin can be made to be easily recognizable and hard to mix up.

Yeah really. Except weight, which is probably why Americans don't have 1 and 2$ coins that are used as frequently as bills. Our bills start at 5, then 10, 20, 50, 100. Coins are .01, .05, .1,.25,.50(rarer),1,2.
