It's not always about what you eat, but how much you eat. Try to eat smaller portions and more meals (like six small meals a day) and exercise more.

Try to eat healthier overall. Eating healthy for one week will not help you lose weight. Choose things you like, and keep them in moderate portions. For example: At breakfast, I really like granola. That can be high in cals and whatnot, so instead of pouring a full bowl, I'll do half with some cut up fruit and another fruit on the side. Bananas are fairly high in cals as well, but that means they help to fill you up and are really good for you in other ways. Some good things to get at the store would be fruits - Personally, I really like bananas, pears, pineapple, and strawberries. I'm not so much of a huge veggie fan, but often times I find if I cook veggies, I like them a lot more. Yum for asparagus and broccoli. Also, salads with a light dressing are great. As far as snacks go, shop around and see if you can find some healthy crackers and then possibly a light spread for them. Snack bars can be good too, but beware of all the sugars you get in some of them. Do you count cals at all? If not, that's a good way to start being aware of what your body is taking in. Try a site like fitday.com or similar to keep track of everything. It not only tracks your calories, but all the good and bad things that are in foods you take in. You may see you need to eat more of certain things and less of others depending on your current eating habits. I know you are anonymous, but I promise if you message with questions, I won't tell anyone who you are. Good luck.

Counting calories and eating a balanced diet is essential to loosing weight. By counting calories, I don't mean eat only 500 a day. That is extremely healthy, and your body needs calories - as well as various vitamins and minerals - to function properly. For weight loss, though it depends on body type, your weight now, gender, etc., the average should be somewhere between 1700-1800 calories a day. If you do exercise, you will probably want to compensate for the exercise. Choosing fruits or vegetables over junk food is one start, and then choosing water over soda and other sugary drinks is another. Eating a piece of two of fruit a day is good, as well as maybe having a salad once a day (with little to no dressing, and always with a regular meal) will help open you up to vegetables and fruits. They also make good snacks in between meals. For grains, such as breads and whatnot, get whole wheat. You need carbs, despite whatever those fad diets say, and whole wheats, oats, etc., are a source of GOOD carbs. Plus, I think whole wheat is delicious. Dairy is also very important, so if you enjoy drinking milk or if you enjoy yogurt, these make good choices as well, especially yogurt. Ice cream every now and then - especially soft serve - can be a good source too, just don't make it a habit, since ice cream tends to be a high calorie food. If you do eat meat, make sure you're eating a small portion every day, or, finding other foods that contain protein. Peanuts are a good source, and I think nuts in general are. They're also high in fat, which can help you fulfill your fat intake for the day (if you're loosing weight, it'll probably be less than the recommened 65g a day, but I'm not sure what it would be exactly). But since I don't want to make this too long, you can also listen to what bri872002 said above me. Nutrition websites can help you very much in choosing what kind of diet you need and if you are satisfactory in meeting your daily requirements. That aside, general common sense is a huge helping factor, as well as motivation and consistency. Also, do not deprive yourself completely of things like junk food. Just like everything else, eating it in excess can harm you. Eating it every so often as a treat will not. All in all, best of luck to you!

Grapes Mixed Grens salad 100 calorie packs lean cuisine meals english muffins tomatos AND NOTHING OVER 120 CALORIES!!! that should help you
Why nothing over 120 calories? 120 calories is really not a lot at all. It's like a snack, not even a meal.
