Good god, what a backhanded comment.

 "I'm 4 weeks pregnant, hooray!"

"Considering that so many pregnancies that early end in miscarriage."

I didn't mean it like that. It does happen, but I wasn't directing my comment at OP in any way.

That's ok, I knew what you meant and it makes sense!

I've told my sister and sister-in-law and one of my best friends.... It's such an exciting secret to share! Ringing the doctor this morning to see if I can get an appointment.... Not sleeping at all as I'm so excited though! Been up since 6am watching One Born Every Minute and feeling super excited...!!!

Maw congrats! How are you finding it so far?

Any morning sickness? I found out at 3 weeks, morning sickness had started to kick in by week 4 and it hasn't let up since. Vom count so far today: 2. I was not prepared for how hard pregnancy was going to be, but feeling bubs move and seeing her on the scans is the best feeling :)

Aw yay! You're due in July right? How did you find out so soon, were you TTC?

I'm feeling ok. 5 weeks today so it's early days and I keep worrying we won't make it to the 12 week mark. No sickness yet, although I did have to make two dashes to the loo yesterday as I thought I was going to vomit but nothing came up. Poor you being so I'll for so long, that's awful.

Main symptom is dizziness actually. Seated or standing. And hunger and being more emotional than usual, and I'm struggling to sleep.

Kind of yeah, we'd spoken about kids, he was really keen and he knew I had fertility issues, so we thought we'd start casually trying, thinking it would take a while. Yeah, if didn't, lol, conceived first cycle. I felt pregnant so I took a test (or three) and it came back positive, and because my cycles are really weird and not at all uniform in length, we went for a dating scan at what they thought was 8 weeks, but was actually 6 weeks.

Dizziness is such a pain in the butt, sucks that you got it this early! And if you think insomnia is bad now, wait till you're third trimester and you have to sleep on your sides but every time you get comfortable bubs decides to move and you have to switch positions. My little one is pretty much living in my ribs atm, it's so uncomfortable. Only 7 more weeks to go though, did not realise how long 9 months was till i got pregnant :p

Thanks for all the well wishes, guys

I think i have an alarm clock, rather than a baby, in my tummy - every morning I am waking up at exactly 5.45am, wide awake and totally unable to get back to sleep. That happens nomatter how early or late I went to bed, so I'm super sleep-deprived now😴

We are telling my parents tonight, which is going to make them so ridiculously happy
